Each year we try to run a number of activity days at LRAC so we can offer a wide range of activities to our group members. Our activity days are fun packed events for family and friends.
Thursday 2nd - Pony Activity Day 1
10am - 4pm
£25
Spend the day on yard looking after and learning about our ponies. The will be chances to work towards our endeaver awards and achievements or if you prefer plenty of time to enjoy being close to the ponies. With lots riding the real ponies and our NEW Equimech interactive simulator, we hope it will be an action packed day!
Please bring your own packed lunch.
Parents / Carers are required to remain on site during this activity, feel free to join in and enjoy the day with us.
Friday 3rd - Pony Activity Day 2

Our second pony day will have different riding and yard activities to day 1 and just as much fun!

Saturday 4th - Countryside Challenge and Family Fun Day
11am - 8pm
£5 per entry for Countryside Challenge.
Donations to LW RDA for BBQ
Bring all your friends and family to our fun day and show off your riding skills in the arena.
Starting 11am our Countryside Challenge Completion is open to all our riders of any level. Incorporating lots of activities and skills used in your weekly lesson, ride our course over bridges, through gateways, past farmyards, postboxes and more. With a chance for a practice round followed by a timed round, each rider has the opportunity to demonstrate their horsemanship skills.
Rosettes for every competitor. Multiple rounds possible subject to demand.
Cheer on your friends and fellow competitors before enjoying an afternoon of fun and games around the centre concluding in a BBQ and Disco starting at 4pm.
Don't forget to bring your dog as we will also have a dog agility course set up in the outdoor arena. If you don't have a hound to hand, there will be plenty to "borrow" for a round.
Afternoon activities include: Welly Wanging, Treasure Hunt, Crafts, fate games and much more. The day rounds off with a disco and BBQ for everyone, grab a glass and grab the chance to catch up with everyone at LW RDA!

Sunday 5th - Driving Experience & Swimming at Ulceby Grange
Driving Experiance
10am - 1pm

A Morning of fun "between the shafts" learning and expanding your driving skills. Open to all drivers and riders this morning session will be full of fun from exploring round the centre to driving a course of obstacles in the arena. No driving experience necessary. Parents / Carers are required to stay on site during this activity.
Family Swimming
1pm - 4pm

Ulceby Grange, Ulceby, Alford, LN13 0HE.
Jeannette has kindly offered to host an afternoon of swimming at her home. The pool is located outside and there will be a fully qualified lifeguard on duty at all times. Feel free to bring a picnic, something to sit on and plenty sun cream! All the family is welcome and as always parents and carers are responsible for their children at all times.
Monday 6th - Pony Adventure Day
10am - 4pm
£25
Join us at LRAC for a day of adventure with the ponies. We will spend the day riding, driving, hunting for treasure as well as many more camp activities.
Please bring a packed lunch as part of this day is a picnic trail accompanied by the ponies. Parents / Carers are required to remain on site during this activity, feel free to join in and enjoy the day with us.

Places are limited so please book early and a £10 deposit is required to secure your place on each activity day. If days are oversubscribed we will use a fair system in include as many members as possible.
