Countryside Challenge (May 13, 2013)
On the 13th of May 5 riders and 9 volunteers attended the Countryside Challenge (an obstacle handy pony course) at the Somerby Equestrian centre organised by The Mount RDA group Leicestershire. Our own RDA horses Danny and Katie were ridden by Adrian, Matthew, William, Lucy and Eric. This was the first event these riders have competed in. Eric had an amazingly successful day and came third in Class 1 section B, Senior (rider with leader and 2 sidewalkers). Adrian also did well coming away with 6th place in Class 2 Section B, Senior (rider with one helper).
All the riders were presented with special rosettes and although it was very cold everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Well done to all the riders, a very successful day for the Lincolnshire Wolds RDA Group
